Methodology

Every public figure belongs to one of three classes: observed, derived, or estimated. Models are versioned so historical results remain interpretable.

Observed data

Our bounded crawler measures public HTTP responses, redirects, headers, HTML metadata, links, DNS resolution, TLS certificates, robots policy and locally identifiable technologies. Observations include their collection time and may become stale.

Derived scores

Technical Quality, SEO, Security Hygiene, Performance, Visibility, Authority and Link Influence are original 0–100 metrics. Version 1.0 combines bounded, normalized observed features. No score is a renamed third-party metric, and the formula prevents a single component from determining the overall result.

Traffic estimates

Traffic is not directly observed. Model 1.0 uses visibility, observed site footprint and link signals to produce a deliberately broad interval. Confidence reflects signal coverage and freshness—not certainty. Estimates may differ substantially from private analytics.

Valuation estimates

The automated digital-asset model uses estimated pageviews, a configurable advertising-yield assumption, a revenue multiple and observed quality signals. It excludes company assets, liabilities, contracts, brand rights and private financials. It is not a professional appraisal or business valuation.

Rankings

Rankings are positions only within the current WebScope index. Percentiles are calculated across the same versioned daily score snapshot. Coverage grows through user submissions and links discovered during compliant crawls.
